WAOK Goes Pink in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and WAOK proudly presented a three-part edition titled WAOK Goes Pink.

Juadolyn Stokes hosted the program and invited a group of influential women to share testimonial stories of surviving breast cancer. Dr. Ryland Gore, MD also joined the program to discuss important facts about breast cancer and how to get tested for early detection.

In part one of the segment, Stokes talked to the survivors of breast cancer to share their insight on how the health issue changed their lives forever.

Special guests include journalist for Atlanta Homicide and Breast Cancer Survivor JaQuitta Williams, Entrepreneur and Entertainment Veteran Cie Cie Wilson McGhee, Grace Tabernacle Ministries Co-Pastor and Breast Cancer Ambassador Angela Frazier, Ladies of Triumph United Survivors founder Frieda Perry, and Northside Hospital Breast Surgical Oncologist Dr. Ryland Gore, MD.
