Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Stacey Abrams and a former House Minority Leader for the Georgia General Assembly and State Representative for the 89th House District, filled the papers to have her name on the ballot. If she wins, Abrams will make history as the first African-American woman Governor in Georgia and nation-wide. She will also be the first democratic to win in Georgia since 2002. Abrams spoke with 1380 WAOK News Anchor, Amanda Cooper, and shared why she is running for Governor of Georgia.
