On Point with Juandolyn Stokes had a candid Sister Talk with Dr. Sylette Debois. She is the founder and CEO of Nurses First and Dr. Sylette Enterprises. She spoke about the racial inequalities that black nurses are experiencing during this pandemic. As a registered nurse and nursing professor at the Chamberlain College of Nursing, she shared her experiences in working with patients and other healthcare administrators and professionals who have biases and prejudices against black nurses.

She also talked about oppressive systems and tactics in the healthcare system that discriminates against black nurses, preventing them from getting the resources, tools, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities that would advance their careers.
