Sister Talk: Meet American Anthropologist Dr. Johnnetta Cole

On Point with Juandolyn Stokes welcomes Dr. Johnnetta Betsch Cole to the Sister Talk Series. Dr. Cole is an American anthropologist, college president, museum director, and educator. She is also the first female African-American president of Spelman College from 1987 to 1997 and the national chair and president for the NCNW (National Council of Negro Women, Inc.) 

Stokes and Dr. Cole discuss the importance of education, how education played a pivotal role in Dr. Cole's life, inequality towards African-Americans during the early and mid-1900s, and her lifetime achievement of serving as president for an HBCU (Historically Black College and Universities).
