WAOK Goes Pink Special Edition: Part Two

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and WAOK proudly presented a three-part edition titled WAOK Goes Pink

Juadolyn Stokes hosted the program and invited a group of influential women to share testimonial stories of surviving breast cancer. Dr. Ryland Gore, MD also joined the program to discuss important facts about breast cancer and how to get tested for early detection. 

In part two of the segment, Stokes talked to Dr. Gore on how patients can get variable information when they visit their doctor to be screened for breast cancer. Listeners also called in to share their breast cancer stories and ways to cope when dealing with the disease. 

Special guests also included journalist for Atlanta Homicide and Breast Cancer Survivor JaQuitta Williams, Entrepreneur and Entertainment Veteran Cie Cie Wilson McGhee, Grace Tabernacle Ministries Co-Pastor and Breast Cancer Ambassador Angela Frazier, and Ladies of Triumph United Survivors founder Frieda Perry.
