It's time to get your kids into the Easter holiday spirit! Transforming Faith Church will have it's Easter Egg Helicopter Drop on Saturday, March 31st. Children between the ages of 2-11 will experience an amazing version of the Easter Egg Hunt. A large amount of 10,000 plastic bags, filled with candy and toys, will be dropped from a helicopter in the sky. The helicopter will then land onto the Southwest DeKalb High School football field for the kids to collect their eggs filled with candy and toys.

For safety purposes, kids will be divided up into age groups and instructed on when they can collect their Easter eggs. The event will also include bounce houses, slides, and limited free food. This event is guaranteed to bring families together and create a setting for children to participate in fun-filled activities.

Parents are advised to register your kids early to participate in the Easter Egg Helicopter Drop and must follow all safety rules, including supervising your children at all times during the event. Additional guidelines are also included in the following:

  •  No personal bags, buckets, or baskets allowed on the field.
  •  No pets are allowed on the property or field unless they are service pets.
  •  No children should be dropped off at the event and left unattended.
  •  No alcohol beverages or illegal substances on the premises.

The Easter Egg Helicopter Drop will take place on the Southwest DeKalb High School Football Field located at 2863 Kelley Chapel Rd., Decatur, Georgia 30034. The event will start at 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The egg drop begins at 2 p.m., with a 2nd egg drop taking place at 2:30 p.m. For more information about registration, including the Transforming Faith Church Easter Worship Service, go to
