Operation Street Harvest is Hosting a Teen Summit for At-Risk Youth

Young teens are invited to summit to engage in fun-filled activities and important dialogue.

Operation Street Harvest is an organization designed to provide a holistic ministry to people who are less fortunate and at-risk youth. On Saturday, September 22nd, Operation Street Harvest is presenting the Driven to Achieve Teen Summit at the Stonecrest Public Library Auditorium from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by founder, C.E.O., and President Bishop Dr. Tonya Sumner Brown and Vice President Rev. Antionette “Tonie” Tate. 

Parents of troubled teens are encouraged to bring their children to the summit for group discussions, an award ceremony, and other important activities for young visitors to engage in. Here is a list of what people can expect from Operation Street Harvest…

Attendees can also expect a group of panelists to speak at the Summit on Saturday to share valuable information with our young teens. Panelists include U.S. Representative Hank Johnson’s Office, Senator Donzella James, State Representative Valencia Stovall, State Representative Able Mable, Commissioner Mereda Johnson, Rev. Samuel Mosteller, Financial Expert Craig Sotkovsky, and Bishop Dr. Tonya Sumner Brown.

Enjoy live entertainment from local artists, including The Atlanta Mass Choir, The Good News Sensory Choir and Dancers, Poet, L'Monique King, and artist Kashwitak. There will be plenty of great performers showcasing their talent to help empower, educate, uplift, and entertain the entire family. The event will also include career/job information for people searching for employment opportunities and free HIV/AIDS screening to those interested in knowing their status.
