Fantastic Movie Run Kicks Off This Saturday To Benefit Artists with Austim

The Fantastic Movie 10k is coming to Powder Springs, Georgia this Saturday to help benefit artists who have suffered or experienced people with autism.

Put on your running shoes and get ready to race for a great cause. The Fantastic Movie 10K Run is coming this Saturday, April 28th in the effort to raise awareness and benefit artists with autism. This ongoing disorder, which can also be considered as Autism Spectrum Disorder or ASD, affects 1% of the world's population. It has also been proven more than 3.5 million Americans, especially people in the entertainment industry, are affected by autism.    

The 501(c) (3) non-profit organization House of Artists Foundation is supporting the event with a variety of different things each participant can get into. Attendees can participate by dressing up as their favorite character from their favorite movie of all time! There will also be a celebration for runners as they compete in this important race. Every runner who crosses the finish line will be awarded a special medal. 

Come out and enjoy live music, entertainment, dance performances, art creations, movie watching, and many more. Special guests will include Mayor of Powder Springs Al Thurman and Atlanta Hawks mascot Harry The Hawk! 

T-shirts will be available for purchase and post-run celebration will go on until 1 p.m. The Fantastic Movie 10K Run kicks off this Saturday, April 28th at 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will begin at the Powder Springs City Hall located at 4484 Marietta Street, Powder Springs, Georgia 30127. Running start time begins at 7 a.m. and walking start time is set at 7:15 a.m.
