Pitch Black Fashion Week on The Movement

Today on The Movement, Myke Robb and Shay Sutton dropped by to kick off Pitch Black Fashion Week. PBFW strives to put an end to domestic violence through the art of fashion and  to empower women and youth to speak out about Domestic Violence; in addition to Providing a Voice to those who were Silenced. They are having a number of events all week long that are listed below. Myke and Shay also shared their personal stories of domestic violence and why they are so passionate about their work.

Day 1

Wednesday July 24th

Panel Discussion- Free to the public. Public officials and empowering men/women speaking out about domestic violence.

Doors Open-5:00pm

Event Ends- 7:00pm


Day 2

Thursday July 25th

Masquerade  Dinner Gala- a night of elegance, networking and guest speakers. This will be a very intimate evening with 50 guests. Come dressed in you best and be sure to wear your masquerade mask. We will also hold a silent auction to raise money for charity. If you have a garment from an old collection that you would like to donate for the auction, please let us know!
