The Movement Kicks Off Women's Empowerment Month

The Movement with Dr. F Keith Slaughter
March 02, 2018 - 10:59 am

Rev. Kanisha Billingsley's journey is an answered prayer that began to manifest at the age of twelve. Pastor Billingsley kicked off Women’s Empowerment Month with Dr. F.  Keith Slaughter and shared her story of blossoming in the pulpit, and discussed her road to academic and philanthropic success.

As a creative spirit, visionary, and scholar Pastor Billingsley brought a refreshing sense of encouragement to the listeners and the callers. She humbly reflected on her 20 years in ministry, being a church planner, a Pastor, a wife, a family member and a friend. Her transparency was not only greatly appreciated, but welcomed. She received both a Masters in Divinity and a Masters in Theology concentrating in Homiletics from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology

Pastor Billingsley will be speaking at The BeLOVEd CommUNITY Church this Sunday, March 4. The church is located at 1113 Ira Street Southwest, Atlanta, GA, 30310
