The City of South Fulton Reduces The Punishment for Marijuana Possession​

The City of South Fulton City approved the decriminalization of marijuana.  Anyone caught with possession of less than one ounce would pay a citation of 150-dollars, rather than going to jail.   South Fulton City Councilman Mark Baker introduced the ordinance earlier this month and was glad that it was approved.

The City of Atlanta  and The City of Clarkston reduced the punishment a few years ago for possession of small amounts of pot to a maximum fine of 75-dollars.
