The first envelope hasn't even been opened yet, but surely Atlanta would like to thank tonight's Academy Awards.

After all, Hollywood's biggest honor has included "I, Tonya" (best actress, best supporting actress, best film editing), "Baby Driver" (best film editing, best sound mixing, best sound editing) and "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" (best visual effects) - filmed in the metro Atlanta area - among the nominees for the 90th annual event. And live action short film contender "DeKalb Elementary" is the story of Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy bookkeeper Antoinette Tuff -  a frequent guest of Entercom Atlanta - averting a school shooting.

(So you know who we're rooting for!)
