Rainbow PUSH Coalition to Host 20th Annual Creating Opportunity Conference

Civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. is gearing up for an action-packed week. The living legend celebrated his 78th Birthday, October 8th and October 10th, his iconic nonprofit, Rainbow PUSH Coalition and the Citizenship Education Fund, will host its 20th Annual Creating Opportunity Conference. The conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, 265 Peachtree St. NE in Atlanta. Day one will begin at Clark Atlanta University with sessions focused on career preparation and panel discussions on Film, Television Digital Entertainment, PushTech, SportsTech, and Teq-Equity. The general public will have an opportunity to attend a FREE job fair and meet face to face with representatives from major corporations. The day will conclude with the “Hope is Alive Gala” birthday celebration for Rev. Jackson later that night. 

Throughout the two day conference, panel topics will vary, ranging from affordable housing, education, criminal justice reform, economic development, census, diversity and inclusion, the highly anticipated corporate report card, and so much more. Attendees will also have a rare opportunity to listen as Rev. Jackson sits down with four CEOs and Presidential Candidate, Tom Steyer for fireside chats.
