District 3 Atlanta Councilman Antonio Brown came on The Rashad Richey Morning Show to discuss his open letter to GA Governor Brian Kemp, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Fulton County Chairman Rob Pitts and DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurman.
The letter has support from Atlanta Council President Felicia Moore, various members of Council, State House, State Senate and others.
According to Brown, due to irrefutable data proving how Covid-19 is disproportionately impacting Black and Brown communities, it's imperative to start mass testing in these communities to ensure proper treatment and education. Councilman Brown represents a majority African-American district.
Brown discussed the pathway forward to a comprehensive solution which could provide this critical opportunity for the city's vulnerable population.
