President Trump Renominated In Charlotte At RNC

Republicans officially renominated President Trump to represent their party on the ballot in the Nov. 3 presidential election, locking in the GOP ticket for an electoral battle against Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris.

During an in-person roll call vote, The states and territories were called in alphabetical order, Nevada was the state that cast the votes to put Trump over the top. Due to President Trump running unopposed and winning every GOP delegate except for one in Iowa, the vote on Monday was a formality.

The vote, held in the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C, which is where the Republican National Convention will officially kick off Monday night at 8:30 pm.
