Georgia State Senator Emanuel Jones stops by the Rashad Richey Morning Show to discuss two senate bills that change the legislation in the city of Stonecrest following recent controversy stemming from a lawsuit and filed temporary restraining order between Mayor Lary and Councilwoman Jazzmin Cobble. Senate Bill 422 clears up the ambiguity around being excused for council meetings. This will automatically excuse any elected official in the event of sickness, family leave, or job related responsibilities. Senate Bill 469 separates the city council and allows them to set their own meetings instead of the Mayor.

The Rashad Richey Morning Show can be heard live Mon-Fri from 7am-10am on News and Talk 1380-WAOK, V-103FM (HD3), http://www.waok.com or download the Radio App at http://www.radio.com  (RE-BROADCAST 7PM-10PM)
