Dr. Rashad Richey sits down with DeKalb County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy, Melody Maddox to discuss DeKalb County's future. Chief  Maddox is scheduled to become the county's first woman to occupy the position as Sheriff. A graduate of Morris Brown College, Maddox is a native of DeKalb County and noted for her stellar community reputation and desirable leadership style. Maddox has been embraced with open arms from members of law enforcement and the general community. Chief Maddox brings over 20 years of law enforcement experience and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Central Michigan University.
