Rashad Richey sits down with Kupae Joe representing the Junior League of Douglas County to discuss the longevity and success of it's work in the community. The Junior League of Douglas County is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, to developing the potential of women, and to improving the effective action and leadership of trained volunteer.

The Junior League of Douglas County launched the Little Black Dress Initiative which is when the league members intentionally wear the same black dress in an effort to raise awareness around poverty. This movement sheds light on women who may not have the luxury of choice for different clothing for interviews, work, or even taking her children to school.
