Several Democratic Presidential candidates have dropped out of the race this week, and Deval Patrick is doing the opposite, he is throwing his hat in the ring. The presidential hopeful was in Atlanta this week and seemed confident that he could clinch the Democratic Presidential seat in 2020.

The former Massachusetts Governor formerly announced his bid on November 14th, and many questioned if he will be able to catch up and gain momentum. While speaking at the African Methodist Episcopal 2019 Winter Legislative Conference on Wednesday, Patrick spoke with me and shared that the late announcement was out of his control.

California Senator Kamala Harris dropped out of the presidential race this week, making Patrick the third African American candidate vying for the 2020 presidential democratic seat. To learn more about Deval Patrick visit https://devalpatrick2020.com.
