The world's busiest airport is now offering flights to Wakanda.

Yes, you read it correctly. A flight departing at 7:30 p.m. to Wakanda, the fictional East African nation in Marvel comics latest Blockbuster "Black Panther".

"We have flights going to Wakanda as long as there's a demand," said Reese McCrainie, Hartsfield Jackson International Airport's Director of Policy and Communications.

An idea conceived at a weekly Monday morning meeting quickly turned into a social media frenzy. McCrainie described the photoshopped picture as an "effort to get playful with our social media followers."

Thus far, the post on the airport's social media accounts has generated over 2.6 million impressions in what McCrainie calls "by far the most amount of engagement."

With over 80% of the film shot here in Atlanta, the production generated nearly $90 million to the state's economy. In turn, the city has embraced the movie as its own. Millions flocked to theaters throughout the state, seen wearing African garments.

In just 5 days, the movie has made over $236 million domestically, and over $400 million worldwide.
