Piedmont Atlanta Hospital Appoints Dr. Rashad Richey To Board of Directors

Dr. Rashad Richey is a popular, Emmy nominated television personality and talk radio host who can be heard daily on News & Talk 1380-WAOK, The Rashad Richey Morning Show and on The People’s Station V-103FM, the largest urban station in America. Many also know Dr. Richey as the political analyst for CBS 46 News (Atlanta) and a regular commentator on MSNBC. Beyond his on-air duties, Dr. Richey is the editor-at-large for Rolling Out and a university professor who has a respected reputation for social justice and community advocacy. As if this trailblazer didn’t have enough on his plate, he’s now a member of the Board of Directors for Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Richey was voted “Best Talk Radio Personality in Atlanta” by readers of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and named “Most Trusted Voice in Atlanta” by the Atlanta Business Journal. Richey’s also known for his work with at-risk youth, which led him to receiving the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama.
