Current Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard came on The Rashad Richey Morning Show to discuss why his office chose to charge 6 Atlanta Police officers with crimes ranging from aggravated assault to damage of property in connection with 2 college students who were recorded being tased, dragged and physically accosted by officers.

DA Howard expressed he felt it was important to act timely after his investigators viewed all relevant video footage and witness statements from the assault.

Rashad also asked the District Attorney about the recent GBI investigation into his finances. Mr. Howard maintained he will be fully exonerated and this is only an administrative matter. When Rashad pressed him on the accusations of sexual harassment, Howard said all of the accusations came within 45 days of his re-election. He characterized them as "campaign lawsuits" and vehemently denied any sexual harassment.
